Welcome to Edumedra ("we," "our," or "us"). By accessing or using our gamified micro-learning platform (the "Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the platform.

1. Description of Service

Edumedra is an independent, gamified micro-learning SaaS platform designed to assist medical graduates in studying for medical examinations, including the National Registration Examination (NRE) administered by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC).

2. STRICT MEDICAL EXAM DISCLAIMERS (PLEASE READ CAREFULLY)

A. Non-Affiliation Disclaimer

Edumedra is a completely independent educational tool. We are NOT affiliated with, endorsed by, partnered with, or recognized by the Pakistan Medical & Dental Council (PMDC), any government medical body, or any official examination board. Any references to the PMDC or NRE are strictly for educational and identification purposes.

B. No Guarantee of Exam Success

While our platform is designed to improve high-yield recall, Edumedra provides the service on an "as-is" basis. We make no guarantees, warranties, or representations that using Edumedra will result in a passing score on the NRE or any other medical examination. We are not liable for any exam failures, career delays, financial losses, or retake fees.

3. Account Registration & Security

  • You must log in securely via our approved third-party authentication partners (BetterAuth/Google).
  • You are entirely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your session tokens and account access.
  • You agree to notify us immediately at hi@edumedra.com if you suspect any unauthorized use of your account.
  • One user per account. Sharing accounts or login sessions is strictly prohibited.

4. Intellectual Property & Anti-Scraping Rules

All content on Edumedra, including our custom Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs), clinical case explanations, system diagrams, categorization systems, layout, text, and gamification mechanics is our exclusive proprietary property.

To protect our hard work, you explicitly agree NOT to:

  • Use automated scripts, bots, spiders, or scrapers to extract questions, explanations, or data from our platform.
  • Manually copy, screenshot, or distribute our proprietary question banks to public forums, WhatsApp groups, Telegram channels, or competing platforms.
  • Reverse-engineer or attempt to manipulate our application logic, XP event calculations, or leaderboard tracking systems.

Any detected automated access or systemic content copying will result in an immediate, permanent ban without warning, and we reserve the right to pursue statutory legal action under the Prevention of Electronic Crimes Act (PECA) 2016.

5. Gamification & Fair Play

To maintain a healthy learning environment on our leaderboards and leagues:

  • You agree not to exploit software bugs to artificially inflate your Experience Points (XP), streaks, or achievements.
  • Creating fake accounts to manipulate the platform's friendship tracking or leaderboard rankings is prohibited.
  • We reserve the right to reset your XP, adjust your league status, or terminate your account if we discover fraudulent activity.

6. Billing, Upgrades, and Refund Policy

  • Current State: The platform features may currently be free or running on promotional access.
  • Future Changes: We reserve the right to introduce paid premium subscription tiers in the future.
  • Strict No-Refunds Policy: All sales and subscription fees (once integrated) are final. Because access to digital content and question banks is granted immediately upon upgrade, we operate a strict No Refunds policy.

7. Termination of Service

We reserve the right, in our sole discretion, to terminate or suspend your access to Edumedra at any time, without prior notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is harmful to other users or our intellectual property.

8. Governing Law

These Terms of Service shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Pakistan. Any legal actions or disputes arising out of your use of Edumedra must be brought exclusively in the competent courts of Pakistan.
